Venice, 2019<\/strong> And this question: are you wearing a mask?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ginza, New York, Milano, Munich, Chengdu in 2019<\/strong> This collection of about 30 works entirely designed by Didier Guillon will come to life in La Maison Valmont Ginza (Tokyo) beginning of October, before flying to New York (393 NYC Gallery), Milano, Munich and landing in La Maison Valmont Chengdu in December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To discover more on each exhibition :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first intention of \u201cWhite Mirror\u201d was initiated and showcased during the Art Biennale. Baptized \u201cHansel & Gretel\u201d, the exhibition unveiled Didier Guillon\u2019s latest works, around the concept of a white forest populated with totems in honeycomb cardboard and papier-m\u00e2ch\u00e9<\/em> masks. White faces, all identical, staring at the visitor\u2026 or maybe not. Their eyes blind to any presence, as a metaphor of loneliness in a crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Didier Guillon features a second collection of works, deeply influenced by front-page news, geopolitics and sustainability concerns. This new interpretation presents totems in honeycomb cardboard, golden and white papier-m\u00e2ch\u00e9<\/em> masks and golden balls\u2026 which question visitors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
